Ingredients:
Prepare Cake:
- Maida (All-purpose flour) sifted 2 & ½ Cups
- Namak (Salt) ½ tsp
- Baking soda 1 tsp
- Baking powder 1 tsp
- Doodh (Milk) ½ Cup
- Sirka (Vinegar) 1 tsp
- Anday (Eggs) 3
- Dahi (Yogurt) whisked ¾ Cup
- Mango puree ¼ Cup
- Vanilla essence 1 tsp
- Bareek cheeni (Caster sugar) 1 & ½ Cup
- Cooking oil 1 Cup
Mango Frosting:
- Whipping cream 400ml
- Vanilla essence 1 tsp
- Sugar powdered ½ Cup
- Yellow food color 5-6 drops or as required
- Mango puree 2 tbs or as required
- Aam (Mango) cubes
Directions:
Prepare Cake:
In a bowl,add all-purpose flour,salt,baking soda,baking powder,mix well & set aside.
Grease 9” baking pan with cooking oil,place butter paper the again grease with oil & set aside.
In milk,add vinegar,mix well & rest for 5 minutes.Buttermilk is ready!
In a bowl,add eggs & beat until fluffy.
Add yogurt,mango puree,prepared buttermilk,vanilla essence,caster sugar,cooking oil & beat well.
Gradually add dry ingredients & beat well.
On greased baking pan,add prepared batter & bake in preheated oven at 170C for 35 minutes.
Take out from the oven & let it cool then remove butter paper.
Mango Frosting:
In a bowl,add whipping cream & beat well.
Add vanilla essence,powdered sugar & beat until soft peaks form.
Add yellow food color and beat again,transfer to a piping bag & refrigerate until use.
Trim a thin layer from the top of sponge cake with a serrated knife and then horizontally cut a layer of cake.
On base of sponge cake,add & spread mango puree,prepared mango frosting,mango cubes,mango frosting & place top layer of cake over it & press gently.
Add & spread mango frosting and frost the outside of the cake with mango frosting.
Decorate cake with mango frosting & mango cubes
Cut into slices & serve!

9” inch baking pan ko cooking oil sa grease karein aur butter paper laga ker dubara oil sa grease ker lein & side per rakh dein.
Doodh mein sirka dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 5 minute kliya chor dein.Buttermilk tayyar hai.
Bowl mein anday dal dein aur fluffy hunay tak beat ker lein.
Dahi,mango puree,tayyar buttermilk,vanilla essence,bareek cheeni aur cooking oil dal ker ache tarhan beat ker lein.
Thora thora ker ka dry ingredients shamil karein aur ache tarhan beat ker lein.
Greased baking pan mein tayyar batter dal dein aur preheated oven mein 170C per 35 minutes kliya bake ker lein.
Oven sa nikal ker thanda ker lein phir butter paper nikal lein.
Mango Frosting:
Bowl mein whipping cream dal ker ache tarhan beat ker lein.
Vanilla essence aur powdered sugar dal ker soft peaks form hunay tak beat ker lein.
Yellow food color dal ker dubara beat ker lein aur piping bag mein dal ker use kernay tak refrigerate ker lein.
Sponge cake ki top layer ko serrated knife kki madad sa trim karein aur horizontally cake ki layer cut ker lein.
Sponge cake ki base per mango puree aur mango frosting dal ker pheela lein aur mango cubes dal dein,mango frosting dal ker upper sa cake ki top layer rakh ker gently press ker lein.
Mango frosting dal dein aur puray cake per mango frosting laga lein.
Mango frosting aur mango cubes sa decorate ker lein.
