Sheer Khurma

Ingredients:

-Olper’s Full Cream Milk 1 Litre

-Desi ghee (Clarified butter) 2 tbs

-Chuwaray (Dry dates) boiled & sliced 8-10

-Kaju (Cashew nuts) sliced 2 tbs

-Badam (Almonds) sliced 2 tbs

-Pista (Pistachios) sliced 2 tbs

-Kishmish (Raisins) washed 1 tbs

-Sugar ½ Cup or to taste

-Elaichi ke daane (Cardamom pods) powder ½ tsp

-Desi ghee (Clarified butter) 2 tbs

-Sawaiyan (Vermicelli) crushed 40g

-Kewra water ½ tsp

-Dried rose petals

 

Directions:

-In a wok,add milk,bring it to boil & cook for 2-3 minutes until milk thickens.

-In frying pan,add clarified butter & let it melt.

-Add dry dates and mix well.

-Add cashew nuts,almonds,pistachios,raisins,mix well and fry for 2 minutes.

-Add fried nuts (reserve for later use),sugar,cardamom pods,mix well and cook on medium flame for 4-5 minutes & keep mixing in between.

-In frying pan,add clarified butter & let it melt.

-Add vermicelli and fry for 2 minutes.

-Add fried vermicelli,mix well and cook for 6-8 minutes.
-Add kewra water,mix well & cook untuil desired consistency.

-Garnish with fried nuts,dried rose petals & serve!
