Meal Replacement Smoothies

Ingredients:

Strawberry Ginger Smoothie:

  • Beetroot diced ½ Cup
  • Gajar (Carrots) diced ½ Cup
  • Strawberries fresh/frozen 1 Cup
  • Adrak (Ginger) ½ inch piece
  • Instant oats ¼ Cup
  • Honey 1 tbs or to taste
  • Orange juice ½ Cup
  • Coconut milk/Low fat milk ½ Cup

Mocha Smoothie:

  • Banana sliced 1
  • Apple peeled & sliced 1 Cup
  • Instant oat 1/3 Cup
  • Cocoa powder 1 tbs
  • Instant coffee powder ½ tsp
  • Flax seeds ground 1 tbs
  • Dark chocolate 2 tbs
  • Honey 1 tbs or to taste
  • Coconut milk 1 Cup
  • Ice cubes

Directions:

Strawberry Ginger Smoothie:

In a blender jug,add beetroot,carrots,fresh/frozen strawberries,ginger,instant oats,honey,orange juice, coconut milk/low fat milk & blend well.

Garnish with fresh basil leaves & serve!

Mocha Smoothie:

In a blender jug,add banana,apple,instant oats,cocoa powder,instant coffee powder,flax seed,dark chocolate,honey,coconut milk & blend well.

Add ice cubes & blend again.

Garnish with grated chocolate & serve!
