Cut potatoes in cube and boil them for 6-7 minutes.
Soak lentils in water for 15 minutes and drain. Cut chilies diagonal. Thinly slice onions.
In a wok heat oil and add lentil and fry for a minute, when the change color, add onion, cumin and mustard seeds.
When onion turns translucent add button chili, turmeric and chili flakes. Mix well.
Add potatoes, curry leaves and salt. Mix well.
If required add water to avoid burning.
Add green chilies and coriander leaves and simmer for five minutes and turn off the flame.
Serve masala aalo with puri, paratha, roti or dosa.
Aalo ko cubes main kaat len aur 6-7 minute keliye boil karlen.
Chana daal aur mash daal pani main 15 minute keliye bhigo den. Hari mirch ko kaat len. Pyaz ko slices main kaat len.
Ek pan main oil shamil Karen. Oil garam hone par chana daal aur mash daal shamil karke bhoonen.
Jab color change hone lage tu pyaz, zeera aur rai shamil karke bhoonen.
Pyaz naram hu jaye tu usmei sabut gol mirch, haldi aur kuti lal mirch shamil ker k pakain.
Ab aalo, kary patay aur namak shamil karke achi tarah mix Karen. Agar khushk hone lage tu thora sa pani shamil kar len.
Hari mirch, hara dhania shamil kar ke 1-2 minute halki aanch par chor dain.
Masala aalo ko poori, paratha, roti ya dosa k sath serve karain.
