Ingredients:
-Sabut dhania (Coriander seeds) 1 tbs
-Zeera (Cumin seeds) 2 tsp
-Hari elaichi (Green cardamom) 6-7
-Shahi zeera (Caraway seeds) ½ tsp
-Laung (Cloves) 7-8
-Javitri (Mace) 2 blades
-Jaifil (Nutmeg) ¼ piece
-Boneless chicken thigh pieces 4
-Tikka masala 1 tbs
-Namak (Salt) ¼ tsp or to taste
-Lemon juice 1 tbs
-Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 2 tsp
-Cooking oil ¼ Cup
-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 1 tbs
-Nurpur Butter salted 2-3 tbs (20g)
-Badiyan ka phool (Star anise) 1
-Darchini (Cinnamon stick) 1
-Tez patta (Bay leaves) 2
-Aloo bukhara (Dried plums) 6-8
-Pyaz (Onion) sliced 1 medium
-Hari mirch (Green chilli) paste 1 & ½ tbs
-Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 tbs
-Tamatar (Tomato) chopped 1 small
-Dahi (Yogurt) whisked ¼ Cup
-Namak (Salt) 2 tsp or to taste
-Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed 1 tsp
-Water 3 Cups
-Chawal (Rice) sella ½ kg (soaked for 1 hour)
-Nurpur Butter salted 2-3 tbs (20g)
Directions:
-In a spice mixer,add coriander seeds,cumin seeds,green cardamom,caraway seeds,cloves,mace, nutmeg,grind well & set aside.
-In a bowl,add chicken,½ tbs of ground spices (reserve remaining for later use),tikka masala,salt, lemon juice,ginger garlic paste,mix well & set aside.
-In a pot,add cooking oil,chicken & fry on medium flame from both sides until golden brown,cover & cook on low flame for 4-5 minutes then cut into pieces,sprinkle fresh coriander,cover & set aside.
-In the same pot,add butter & let it melt.
-Add star anise,cinnamon stick,bay leaves,dried plums & mix well.
-Add onion & sauté until translucent.
-Add green chilli paste,ginger garlic paste,mix well & cook for 2 minutes.
-Add tomatoes,mix well & cook until tomatoes are soft.
-Add yogurt,remaining ground spices,salt,black pepper crushed,mix well & cook for 2-3 minutes.
-Add water,mix well & bring it to boil.
-Add soaked rice,mix well & cook on medium flame until water is reduced,cover with kitchen cloth & lid and steam cook on low flame for 12-15 minutes.
-On a serving dish,add cooked rice & chicken pieces.
-In a saucepan,add butter & let it melt.
-Drizzle melted butter on serving dish & serve!

-Bowl mein chicken,½ tbs ground spices (reserve remaining for later use),tikka masala,namak,lemon juice aur adrak lehsan paste dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein & side per rakh dein.
-Pot mein cooking oil aur chicken dal dein aur darmiyani ancch per dono sides sa golden brown ho janay tak fry ker lein aur dhak ker halki ancch per 4-5 minutes kliya paka lein phir pieces mein cut ker lein,hara dhania dal ker dhak dein & side per rakh dein.
-Us he pot mein makhan dal ker melt ker lein.
-Badiyan ka phool,darchini,tez patta aur aloo bukhara dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.
-Pyaz dal dein aur translucent hunay tak sauté ker lein.
-Hari mirch paste aur adrak lehsan paste dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 2 minute kliyaa paka lein.
-Tamatar dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur tamatar naram ho janay tak paka lein.
-Dahi,remaining ground spices,namak aur kali mirch crushed dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 2-3 minutes kliya paka lein.
-Pani dal ker mix karein aur ubal anay dein.
-Soaked chawal dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur darmiyani ancch per pani reduce ho janay tak paka lein,kitchen cloth & lid sa cover ker lein aur halki ancch per 12-15 minutes kliya steam cook ker lein.
-Serving dish mein cooked chawal & chicken pieces dal dein.
-Saucepan mein makhan dal ker melt ker lein.
-Serving dish per drizzle ker ka serve karein!
