Grilled Teriyaki Chicken

Ingredients:

Prepare Teriyaki Sauce:

-Soy sauce ¾ Cup

-Water ½ Cup

-Sirka (Vinegar) 3 tbs

-Adrak (Ginger) chopped 1 tsp

-Lehsan (Garlic) chopped ½ tbs

-Onion powder 1 tsp

-Brown sugar 3 tbs

-Cornflour 2 tbs

Prepare Teriyaki Chicken:

-Boneless chicken preferably high 500g

-Himalayan pink salt ½ tsp or to taste

-Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) ½ tsp

-Til (Sesame seeds) roasted

 

Directions:

Prepare Teriyaki Sauce:

-In a saucepan,add soy sauce,water,vinegar,ginger,garlic,onion powder,brown sugar,cornflour,whisk well,turn on the flame & cook on low flame until sauce thickens & set aside.

Prepare Teriyaki Chicken:

-In a bowl,add chicken,pink salt,black pepper powder,half quantity of prepared teriyaki sauce & mix well,cover with cling wrap & marinate for 30 minutes.

-Soaked wooden skewers in water then take out from water & skew marinated chicken on them.

-Place skewers on grill rack & place the grill rack on glass tray inside microwave.

-Now cook on grill+combination for 10 minutes & apply prepared teriyaki sauce on both sides & continue cooking on grill+combination for 10 minutes or until chicken is done (makes 9-10 skewers).

-Sprinkle sesame seeds & serve grilled teriyaki chicken with boiled rice & sautéed vegetables.
