Ingredients:
Prepare Dough:
- Maida (All-purpose flour) sifted 2 Cups
- Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
- Sugar 1 & ½ tsp
- Anday ki zardi (Egg yolk) 1
- Makhan (Butter) 4 tbs (room temperature)
- Water hot ½ Cup
Prepare Butter Chicken Filling:
- Cooking oil 1-2 tbs
- Chicken boneless small cubes 350g
- Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
- Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp
- Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) ½ tsp or to taste
- Zeera powder (Cumin powder) ½ tsp
- Cooking oil 2 tsp
- Makhan (Butter) 1 tbs
- Pyaz (Onion) ground ½ Cup
- Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 tsp
- Tomato paste 1 tbs
- Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) ¼ tsp
- Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste
- Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) ½ tsp or to taste
- Dhania powder (Coriander powder) ½ tsp
- Garam masala powder ¼ tsp
- Kaju (Cashew nuts) powde 1 & ½ tbs
- Kasuri methi (Dried fenugreek leaves) 1 tbs
- Water 5-6 tbs
- Cream 2 tbs
- Cheddar cheese grated ½ Cup
- Mozzarella cheese grated ½ Cup
- Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 1 tbs
- Anday ki zardi (Egg yolk) whisked
Directions:
Prepare Dough:
In a bowl,add all-purpose flour,salt,sugar & mix well.
Add egg yolk,butter & mix until is crumbles.
Gradually add water & knead until dough is formed,cover & refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Prepare Butter Chicken Filling:
In a wok add cooking oil,chicken and mix well until it changes color.
Add salt,turmeric powder,red chilli powder and cumin powder,mix well and cook on high flame for 2-3 minutes & set aside.
In the same wok,add cooking oil,butter & let it melt.
Add onion paste and mix well.
Add ginger garlic paste,mix well & cook for a minute.
Add tomato paste,turmeric powder,salt,red chilli powder,coriander powder,garam masala powder, cashew nut powder,dried fenugreek leaves & mix well.
Add water,mix well & cook for 2 minutes.
Add cooked chicken & mix well.
Turn off the flame,add cream & mix well.
Turn on the flame,cover & cook on low flame for 4-5 minutes.
Let it cool.
Add cheddar cheese,mozzarella cheese,fresh coriander,mix well & set aside.
Knead dough again until smooth and divide the dough into 2 portions.
Take one portion,make a ball and roll out with the help of rolling pin.
Cut the dough with the help of 4 inch round cutter.
Take one rolled dough and roll out gently,add butter chicken stuffing in the center,fold the sides & stick the dough making d-shape,pinch & seal folding or seal with fork (makes 12-13).
Option # 1: Air Fryer
In air fryer machine,place butter chicken empanadas,apply egg yolk and air fry at 200 C for 10-12 minutes.
Option # 2: Baking
On baking tray,line with butter paper,place butter chicken empanadas and apply egg yolk.
Bake in preheated oven at 180 C for 10-12 minutes.
Empanadas can also be fried in cooking oil until golden brown.
Serve with tomato ketchup!

Anday ki zardi aur makhan dal dein aur crumble hunay tak ache tarhan mix ker lein.
Thora thora ker ka pani shamil karein aur ghond ker dough tayyar ker lein aur dhak ker 30 minutes kliya refrigerate ker lein.
Prepare Butter Chicken Filling:
Karahi mein cooking oil aur chicken dal dein aur rang tak tabdeel hunay tak ache tarhan mix ker lein.
Namak,haldi powder,lal mirch powder aur zeera powder dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur tez ancch per 2-3 minutes kliya paka lein & side per rakh dein.
Us he karahi mein cooking oil aur makhan dal ker melt ker lein.
Adrak lehsan paste dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur ek minute kliya paka lein.
Tomato paste,haldi powder,namak,lal mirch powder,dhania powder,garam masala powder,kaju powder aur kasuri methi dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
Pani dal ker mix karein aur 2 minute kliya paka lein.
Cooked chicken dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
Chulha bund ker dein aur cream dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.
Chulha on ker lein aur dhak ker halki ancch per 4-5 minutes kliya paka lein.
Thanda ker dein.
Cheddar cheese,mozzarella cheese aur hara dhania dal ker ache tarhan mix karein & side per rakh dein.
Dough ko smooth hunay tak dubara ghond lein aur 2 portions mein divide ker lein.
Ek portion lein aur ball banak er rolling pin ki madad sa bail lein.
Dough ko 4 inch round cutter sa cut ker lein.
Ek rolled dough lein aur gently bail lein,tayyar butter chicken stuffing ko center mein dal dein aur sides ko fold ker d-shape bana lein aur pinch ker ka folding ko seal ker lein or fork sa seal ker lein (makes 12-13).
Option # 1: Air Fryer
Air fryer machine mein butter chicken empanadas rakh dein aur anday ki zardi laga lein aur 200 C per 10-12 minutes kliya air fry ker lein.
Option # 2: Baking
Baking tray per butter paper laga lein aur butter chicken empanadas rakh dein aur anday ki zardi laga lein.
Preheated oven mein 180 C per 10-12 minutes kliya bake ker lein.
Empanadas cooking oil mein golden brown hunay tak fry ker saktay han.
