Ingredients:

Potato Filling:

  • Aalo (Potatoes) boiled & cubes 250g
  • Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) ½ tsp or to taste
  • Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste
  • Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) ½ tsp
  • Chicken powder 1 tsp
  • Zeera powder (Cumin powder) ½ tsp
  • Mozzarella cheese grated 3-4 tbs
  • Cheddar cheese grated 3-4 tbs
  • Hara pyaz (Spring onion) chopped ¼ Cup

Chicken Filling:

  • Chicken boiled & shredded 250g
  • Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste
  • Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed ½ tsp
  • Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) ½ tsp or to taste
  • Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) ½ tsp
  • Lehsan powder (Garlic powder) 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice ½ tbs
  • Mayonnaise 3 tbs
  • Hara pyaz (Spring onion) chopped 3 tbs
  • Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 1-2 tbs

Prepare Flour Slurry:

  • Maida (All-purpose flour) 5-6 tbs
  • Water 400ml
  • Bread slices as required
  • Cooking oil for frying

Directions:

Potato Filling:

In a bowl,add potatoes & mash well with the help of masher.

Add red chilli powder,salt,black pepper powder,chicken powder,cumin powder,mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese,spring onion,mix well & set aside.

Cut the edges of bread slices & roll out with the help of rolling pin & divide into 2 pieces

On one piece,add potato filling (1 tsp),roll out and apply water at one end & seal the end.

Similarly make others rolls and thread on wooden skewer in a row (makes 20-22).

Chicken Filling:

In a bowl,add chicken,salt,cumin seeds,red chilli powder,black pepper powder,garlic powder,lemon juice,mayonnaise,spring onion and fresh coriander,mix well & set aside.

Cut the edges of bread slices & roll out with the help of rolling pin & divide into 2 pieces

On one piece,add chicken filling (1 tsp),roll out and apply water at one end & press gently to seal the end.

Similarly make others rolls and thread on wooden skewer in a row (makes 20-22).

Prepare Flour Slurry:

In a jug,add all-purpose flour,water & whisk well to a thin consistency.Flour slurry is ready & set aside.

Now dip prepared bread skewers in flour slurry.

In a frying pan,heat cooking oil & shallow fry bread skewers on medium flame from both sides until golden brown.

Drizzle tomato ketchup & serve!
