Ingredients:
Whole Wheat Beetroot Tacos:
- Chukandar (Beetroot) peeled 1 large
- Pani (Water) ½ Cup or as required
- Atta (Whole wheat flour) sifted 2 Cups
- Kalonji (Nigella seeds) 1 tsp
- Pink salt 1 tsp
- Zeera (Cumin seeds) 1 tsp
Grilled Chicken:
- Chicken fillets 2
- Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) 1 & ½ tsp or to taste
- Zeera powder (Cumin powder) ½ tsp
- Pink salt ½ tsp
- Dhania powder (Coriander powder) 1 tsp
- Darchini powder (Cinnamon powder) ½ tsp
- Paprika powder ½ tsp
- Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 tsp
- Lemon juice 1 tbs
- Olive oil 2 tbs
Prepare Salad:
- Ice berg
- Gajar (Carrot) julienne
- Kheera (Cucumber) julienne
- Corn kernels boiled
- Shimla mirch (Capsicum) julienne
- Lemon juice
Assembling:
- Whole wheat beetroot taco
- Salad
- Chicken slices
- Raita/Green yogurt sauce
Directions:
For Whole Wheat Beetroot Tacos:
In grinder,add beetroot and water,grind well and set aside.
In bowl,add whole wheat flour,nigella seeds,pink salt,cumin seeds and mix well.
Gradually add grinded beetroot mixture,mix well and knead until dough is formed and let it rest for 15 minutes.
Take a small dough and make a ball,sprinkle flour and roll out dough with the help of rolling pin and prick with fork.
Now hang the taco tortillas on oven rack and bake in preheated oven at 180 C for 10 minutes.
After baking,let it cool.
For Grilled Chicken:
In bowl,add chicken fillets,red chili powder,cumin powder,pink salt,coriander powder,cinnamon powder,paprika powder,ginger garlic paste and lemon juice,mix well and marinate for 30 minutes.
In grill pan,add olive oil and marinated chicken,grill from both sides until done.
Cut into sides shape or slices & set aside.
For Salad:
In bowl,add ice berg,carrot,cucumber,corns kernels,capsicum,lemon juice and mix well.
To assemble tacos,add salad,chicken slices,raita/green yogurt sauce & serve.

Grinder mein chukandar aur pani dal ker ache tarhan grind ker lein & side per rakh dein.
Bowl mein atta,kalonji,pink salt aur zeera dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.
Thora thora ker ka grinded chukandar mixture shamil karein aur ache tarhan mix karein aur atta ghond ker dough tayyar ker lein aur 15 minutes kliya rakh dein.
Chota dough lein aur ball bana lein,atta chirak ker rolling pin ki madad sa bail lein aur fork sa prick ker lein.
Ab taco tortilla ko oven rack per latka lein aur preheated oven mein 180 C per 10 minutes kliya bake ker lein.
Baking ka bad thanda ker lein.
For Grilled Chicken:
Bowl mein chicken fillets,lal mirch powder,zeera powder,pink salt,dhania powder,darchini powder, paprika powder,adrak lehsan paste aur lemon juice dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 30 minutes kliya marinate ker lein.
Grill pan mein olive oil aur marinated chicken dal dein aur dono sides sa grill ker lein.
Desired shapes or slices mein cut ker lein.
For Salad:
Bowl mein ice berg,gajar,kheera,corn kernels,shimla mirch aur lemon juice dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
Tacos mein salad,chicken slices aur raita/green yogurt sauce dal ker serve karein.
