Ingredients:
Prepare BBQ Chicken & Mushroom Skewers:
- Soy sauce 3-4 tbs
- BBQ sauce 2 tbs
- Mustard paste 1 & ½ tsp
- Sirka (Vinegar) 2 tbs
- Cooking oil 1 tbs
- Sugar 1 tbs
- Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed 1 tsp
- Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
- Lehsan powder (Garlic powder) 1 tsp
- Paprika powder 1 tsp
- Chicken boneless cubes ½ kg
- Mushrooms 1 Cup
- Cooking oil 2 tbs
- Water 5-6 tbs
- Water 2-3 tbs
- Cornflour 1-2 tsp
Prepare Lemon Herb Rice:
- Cooking oil 3-4 tbs
- Lehsan (Garlic) chopped 1 tsp
- Chawal (Rice) 2 Cups (soaked & boiled with salt)
- Fresh basil leaves chopped ¼ Cup
- Fresh parsley chopped 2 tbs
- Lemon zest 1 tsp
- Dried oregano 1 tsp
- Chicken powder 1 tsp (optional)
- Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) 1 tsp
- Lemon juice 2 tbs
Directions:
Prepare BBQ Chicken & Mushroom Skewers:
In a bowl,add soy sauce,BBQ sauce,mustard paste,vinegar,cooking oil,sugar,black pepper crushed, salt,garlic powder,paprika powder & whisk well.
Add chicken,mushrooms & mix well,cover and marinate for 30 minutes.
Thread marinated chicken & mushrooms on wooden skewer (makes 9-10 skewers) and reserve marinade for later use.
In frying pan,add cooking oil and fry skewers from all sides until done (8-10 minutes) & set aside.
On the same frying pan,add reserved marinade and mix well.
Add water and mix well.
In water,add cornflour and whisk well.
Gradually add dissolved conrflour,mix well and cook until sauce is thick & set aside.
Prepare Lemon Herb Rice:
In a wok,add cooking oil,garlic,mix well and fry until light golden.
Add boiled rice and mix well.
Add fresh basil leaves,fresh parsley,lemon zest,dried oregano,chicken powder,black pepper powder, lemon juice and give it a good mix.
Serve lemon herb rice with chicken & mushroom skewers,drizzle prepared BBQ sauce and garnish with lemon skin,fresh parsley & serve!

Frying pan mein cooking oil dal dein aur skewers ko tamam sides sa fry ker lein (8-10 minutes) & side per rakh dein.

Pani dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.
Cornflour mein pani dal ker ache tarhan whisk ker lein.
Thora thora ker ka dissolved cornflour dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein aur garha ho janay tak paka lein & side per rakh dein.

Karahi mein cooking oil aur lehsan dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur light golden ho janay tak fry ker lein.
Boield chawal dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.
Fresh basil leaves,fresh parsley,lemon zest,dried oregano,lehsan powder,kali mirch powder aur lemon juice dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
