Ingredients:
- Oil ½ cup
- Pyaz (Onion) Sliced 3
- Oil 3-4 tbs
- Beef/Mutton ½ kg
- Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 tbs
- Kashmiri lal mirch (Kashmiri red chili) 1 tsp
- Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) ¼ tsp
- Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
- Dhania powder (Coriander powder) 2 tsp
- Hari elaichi (Green cardamom) 4-5
- Laung (Cloves) 4-5
- Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) 1 tsp or to taste
- Paani (Water) 2 cups or as required
- Dahi (Yogurt) ½ cup
- Pyaz (onion) Fried & grinded
- Aalo (Potatoes) Medium 3-4
- Paani (Water) 1 cup or as required
- Garam masala powder (Whole spice powder) ½ tsp
- Elaichi powder (Cardamom powder) ½ tsp
- Jaifal & javatri powder (Nutmeg & mace powder) ¼ tsp
- Kewra essence ½ tsp
- Hara dhaniya (Green coriander) Chopped
- Adrak (Ginger) Julienne
- Hari mirch (Green chili) 3-4
Directions:
In pot,add oil and onion,fry till brown,grind fried onion and set aside.
In pot,add oil,beef and fry for 1-2 minutes.
Add ginger garlic and mix well.
Add kashmiri red chili,turmeric powder,salt,coriander powder,green cardamom,cloves and red chili powder,mix well and add water,bring it to boil.
Cover and let it cook until meat is ¾ done.
Add yogurt and cook until water dries and oil separates.
Now add onion (fried & grinded) and mix well.
Add potatoes and water,mix it,cover and cook till potatoes are tender and meat is done.
Add whole spice powder, cardamom powder,nutmeg & mace powder,kewra essence,green coriander, ginger (julienne) and green chili.
Cover and put it on simmer for 1-2 minutes.
Delhi wala aalo gosht is ready to serve.

Pot mein oil aur pyaz dal ker brown hunay tak fry ker lein,fried pyaz ko grind karein aur side per rakh dein.
Pot mein oil aur beef dal ker 1-2 minute kliya fry ker lein.
Adrak lehsan paste dal ker mix ker lein.
Kashmiri lal mirch,haldee powder,namak,dhania powder,hari elaichi,laung aur lal mirch powder dal ker mix karein,paani shamil ker k ubal anay tak paka lein.
Dhak ker gosht ¾ done hunay tak paka lein.
Dahi shamil karein aur paani sukh janay aur oil alag hunay tak paka lein.
Ab is mein pyaz (fried & grinded) dal ker mix ker lein.
Aalo aur paani dal ker mix karein,dhak ker aalo aur gosht gul janay tak paka lein.
Garam masala powder,elaichi powder,jaifal & javatri powder,kewra essence,hara dhania (chopped),adrak (julienne) aur hari mirch shamil ker lein.
Dhak ker dum per 1-2 minute kliya rakh dein.
Delhi wala aalo gosht tayyar hai.
