Apart from that Tomato soup is a great source of vitamin A, C and K, it also contains calcium and antioxidants like carotenoid and lycopene. It is considered to be beneficial in improving skin, bones, cardiovascular, mental health.
It contains chromium a minieral that helps in regulation of blod sugar so it is a n excellent addition to a diabetic patients diet.
Ingredients:
- Tamatar (Tomatoes) ½ kg
- Pani (Water) 2 Cups
- Olive oil 3 tbs
- Lehsan (Garlic) crushed 1 tbs
- Pyaz (Onion) finely chopped ¼ Cup
- Gajar (Carrot) finely chopped ½ Cup
- Tomato paste 2 tbs
- Yakhni (Stock) 2 Cups
- Namak (Salt) ¼ tsp or to taste
- Kali mirch (Black pepper) powder ½ tsp
- Safed mirch powder (White pepper powder) ½ tsp
- Aata (Flour) 1 tsp or as required (optional)
- Pani (Water) if required
Directions:
Wash and remove the top core of the tomatoes and cut in 4 halves.
In pot,add tomatoes and water,bring it to boil and cook on low flame for 20 minutes & let them cool.
Now remove the skin of tomatoes.
In grinder,add tomatoes with remaining water and blend well.
In pot,add olive oil,garlic and mix well.
Add onion and fry until translucent.
Add carrot and mix well.
Add blended tomatoes,mix well and bring it to boil.
Add tomato paste and stock,mix well and bring it to boil,cover & cook on low flame for 20-25 minutes then sieve the whole tomato mixture.
In pot,add sieved tomatoes puree and bring it to boil,add salt,black pepper powder,white pepper powder and mix well.
Sprinkle flour and mix well continuously.
If required,add water,mix well and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
In serving bowl,add tomato soup,cream,croutons & serve hot.

Directions:
Tamatar ko dho dein aur top core ko nikal lein aur 4 halves mein cut ker lein.
Pot mein tamatar aur pani dal ker ubal lein aur 20 minutes kliya halki ancch per paka lein & thanda ker lein.
Ab tamatar ki skin ko nikla lein.
Grinder mein tamatar aur baqi bacha huwa pani dal ker ache tarhan blend ker lein.
Pot mein olive oil aur lehsan dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.
Pyaz dal dein aur translucent hunay tak fry ker lein.
Gajar dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
Blended tamatar dal ker acha tarhan mix karein aur ubal anay dein.
Tomato paste aur yakhni dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur ubal anay ka bad dhak dein & halki ancch per 20-25 minutes kliya paka lein phir chaan lein.
Pot mein chaanay huway tamatar ki puree dal dein aur ubal anay dein phir namak,kali mirch powder aur safed mirch powder dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
Aata chirak dein aur musalsal mix kertay rahien.
Agar zaroorat ho tou pani dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 2-3 minutes kliya simmer ker lein.
Serving bowl mein tomato soup,cream aur croutons dal ker garam serve karein.
