Ingredients:
-Kalay chanay (Black chickpeas) 500g (soaked for 1-2 hours)
-Baking soda ¼ tsp
-Water as required

-Dahi (Yogurt) whisked 2 Cups
-Baisan (Gram flour) sifted 1 Cup
-Chicken powder 1 tbs
-Zeera powder (Cumin powder) 1 tbs
-Dhania powder (Coriander powder) 2 tbs
-Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 tbs or to taste
-Namak (Salt) 1 & ½ tsp or to taste
-Garam masala powder 1 tsp
-Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) 1 tsp
-Ajwain (Carom) powder ½ tsp
-Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 tbs
-Water 2-3 Cups or as required
-Water 1 & ½ litre or as required
-Pyaz (Onion) pureed ½ Cup
-Hari mirch (Green chillies) sliced 3-4
-Imli pulp (Tamarind pulp) ½ Cup
-Water 2 Cups
-Aloo (Potatoes) boiled & cubes 2 large
Prepare Tadka:
-Cooking oil ¼ Cup
-Lehsan (Garlic) chopped ½ tbs
-Karry patta (Curry leaves) 12-15
-Chaat masala
-Papri
-Pyaz (Onion) sliced
-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped
Direction:
-In a pot,add soaked chickpeas,baking soda,water,mix well & bring it to boil,cover & cook on low flame until 3/4th done (40-50 minutes) then strain & set aside.
-In a blender,add yogurt,gram flour,chicken powder,cumin powder,coriander powder,red chilli powder,salt,garam masala powder,turmeric powder,carom powder,ginger garlic paste,gradually add water & blend well.
-In a pot,add blended mixture & water,turn on the flame,mix well & cook on medium flame for 12-15 minutes & keep mixing in between.
-Add onion paste,green chillies,tamarind pulp & mix well.
-Add water,mix well & cook on low flame for 35-40 minutes & keep mixing in between.
-Add boiled chickpeas,potatoes,mix well & cook on low flame for 10-12 minutes.
Prepare Tadka:
-In a frying pan,add cooking oil,garlic,curry leaves & fry until light golden.
-Pour prepared tadka on kadhi cholay & mix well.
-Sprinkle chaat masala,papri,onion,fresh coriander & serve with bread!

Direction:
-Pot mein soaked chanay,baking soda aur pani dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur ubal anay ka bad dak dein aur halki ancch per 3/4th done ho janay tak paka lein (40-50 minutes) phir strain ker ka side per rakh dein.
-Blender mein dahi,baisan,chicken powder,zeera powder,dhania powder,lal mirch powder,namak, garam masala powder,haldi powder,ajwain powder,adrak lehsan paste aur thora thora ker ka pani shamil karein aur ache tarhan blend ker lein.
-Pot mein blended mixture aur pani dal dein,chulha on karein aur ache tarhan mix ker ka darmiyani ancch per 12-15 minutes kliya paka lein & bech bech mein chamcha chalatay rahein.
-Pyaz paste,hari mirchein aur imlu pulp dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Pani dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur halki ancch per 35-40 minutes kliya paka lein & bech bech mein chamcha chalatay rahein.
-Boiled chanay aur aloo dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur halki ancch per 10-12 minutes kliya paka lein.
Prepare Tadka:
-Frying pan mein cooking oil,lehsan aur karry patta dal dein aur light golden ho janay tak fry ker lein.
-Tayyar tadka ko kadhi cholay mein dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Chaat masala,papri,pyaz aur hara dhania dal dein aur bread ka saath serve karein!
