Sugar free Whole wheat Biscuits

Ingredients:

-Chakki ka atta (Whole wheat flour) sifted 250g (1 & ¾ Cup)

-Attay ki bhoosi (Wheat bran) 3 tbs

-Stevia or Low-calorie sweetener 2-3 tbs

-Baking powder 1 tsp

-Namak (Salt) ¼ tsp

-Makhan (Butter) unsalted 150g

-Vanilla essence ½ tsp

-Doodh (Milk) ¼ Cup (room temperature)

 

Directions:

-In a bowl,add whole wheat flour,wheat bran,stevia or low calorie sweetener,baking powder,salt & mix well.

-Add butter & mix well until it crumbles.

-Add vanilla essence & mix well.

-Gradually add milk & knead until dough comes together,cover & refrigerate for 30 minutes.

-Place the dough on a clean surface,divide into two portions,take one part,make a ball & roll out with the help of rolling pin (roll out 2 mm thick dough).

Note: Dough must be chilled.

-With the help of cookie cutter (2.25 inches),cut into round shapes (2 mm thick biscuits).

-Place cookies on a baking tray lined with butter paper & stamp them with the help of cookie stamp (makes 29-30) & refrigerate for 15 minutes.

-Bake in preheated oven at 160C for 20-25 minutes (on both grills).

-Take out from oven & let them cool completely on a cooling rack.

-Can be stored in an airtight jar for up to 2 weeks.
