Tarragon Chicken Pasta

Ingredients:

Prepare Tarragon Chicken:

-Dried oregano 1 tsp

-Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed 1 tsp

-Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed 1 tsp

-Tarragon leaves dried ½ tsp

-Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste

-Lehsan (Garlic) crushed 1 tsp

-Lemon juice 2 tbs

-Worcestershire sauce 1 tbs

-Olive oil 2 tbs

-Boneless chicken fillet 250g

Prepare Tarragon Pasta:

-Olive oil 2 tbs

-Makhan (Butter) 1-2 tbs

-Pyaz (Onion) chopped 1 small

-Lehsan (Garlic) chopped 1 tbs

-Yakhni (Chicken stock) 1 Cup Substitute: 1 chicken cube dissolved in 1 Cup warm water

-Cream 1 Cup

-Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed 1 tsp

-Tarragon leaves dried 1 tsp

-Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste

-Parmesan cheese grated 3-4 tbs

-Penne pasta boiled as per packs instructions 200g

-Fresh parsley chopped

 

Directions:

Prepare Tarragon Chicken:

-In a bowl,add dried oregano,black pepper crushed,cumin seeds,tarragon leaves,salt,garlic,lemon juice,worcestershire sauce,olive oil,mix well & set aside.

-On a clean cutting board,place chicken fillet & cut from the center into two pieces.

-Cover with cling film & slightly pound fillets with the help of meat mallet.

-Add chicken fillets in marination,cover with cling film & marinate for 30 minutes.

-Grease grill pan with olive oil,place marinated fillets with marination & grill on low flame until done (7-8 minutes each side).

-Cut chicken into slices & set aside.

Prepare Tarragon Pasta:

-In a wok,add olive oil,butter & let it melt.

-Add onion & mix well.

-Add garlic,mix well & cook for a minute.

-Add chicken stock,mix well & bring it to boil.

-Turn off the flame,add cream & whisk well.

-Turn on the flame,add black pepper crushed,tarragon leaves,salt,parmesan cheese & mix well for a minute.

-Add boiled pasta & give it a good mix.

-In a serving bowl,add tarragon pasta,tarragon chicken,garnish with fresh parsley & serve!
