Ingredients:
Moong Masoor Daal:
- Masoor daal (Split orange lentil) ½ Cup (soaked for 1 hour)
- Moong daal (Split yellow lentil) ½ Cup (soaked for 1 hour)
- Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) 1 & ½ tsp
- Water 3-4 Cups
- Namak (Salt) 1 & ½ tsp or to taste
- Water hot 3 Cups
Prepare Tadka:
- Cooking oil ¼ Cup
- Pyaz (Onion) chopped 1 small
- Lehsan (Garlic) sliced 4-5 cloves
- Zeera (Cumin seeds) 1 tsp
- Sabut lal mirch (Button red chillies) 4-5
- Kary patta (Curry leaves) 10-12
Achari Kurkuri Bhindi:
- Bhindi (Okra) ½ kg deseeded &cut in julienne
- Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste
- Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 & ½ tsp or to taste
- Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) 1 tsp
- Zeera powder (Cumin powder) 1 & ½ tsp
- Saunf (Fennel seeds) crushed 1 tsp
- Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed 1 & ½ tsp
- Chaat masala 1 tsp
- Sabut dhania (Coriander seeds) crushed ½ tbs
- Kalonji (Nigella seeds) crushed 1 tsp
- Lemon juice 2 tbs
- Baisan (Gram flour) 3 & ½ tbs
- Chawal ka atta (Rice flour) 1 tbs
- Cooking oil for frying
Directions:
Moong Masoor Daal:
In a pot,add split red lentil,split yellow lentil,turmeric powder,water,mix well & bring it to boil,cover & cook on medium flame until tender (18-20 minutes) then mash well with the help of wooden masher.
Add salt and mix well.
Add hot water,mix well & bring it to boil.
Prepare Tadka:
In a frying pan,add cooking oil,onion,garlic,mix well & fry until light golden.
Add cumin seeds,button red chillies,curry leaves & mix well.
Now add prepared tadka in daal & mix well.
Achari Kurkuri Bhindi:
In a bowl,add okra,salt,red chilli powder,turmeric powder,cumin powder,fennel seeds,red chilli crushed,chaat masala,coriander seeds,nigella seeds,lemon juice & mix well.
Add gram flour,rice flour & mix well.
In a wok,heat cooking oil and fry okra on medium flame until golden brown & crispy.
Serve moong masoor daal with achari kurkuri bhindi,rice,salad & pickle!

- Chawal ka atta (Rice flour) 1 tbs
- Cooking oil for frying
Directions:
Moong Masoor Daal:
Pot mein masoor daal,moong daal,haldi powder aur pani dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur ubal anay ka bad dhak dein aur darmiyani ancch per gul janay tak paka lein (18-20 minutes) phir wooden masher ki madad sa ache tarhan mash ker lein.
Namak dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
Garam pani dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur ubal anay dein.
Prepare Tadka:
Frying pan mein cooking oil,pyaz aur lehsan dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur light golden hunay tak fry ker lein.
Zeera,sabut lal mirch aur kary patta dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
Ab daal mein tayyar tadka dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
Achari Kurkuri Bhindi:
Bowl mein bhindi,namak,lal mirch powder,haldi powder,zeera powder,saunf,lal mirch crushed,chaat masala,sabut dhania,kalonji aur lemon juice dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.
Baisan aur chawal ka atta dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
Karahi mein cooking oil garam karein aur darmiyani ancch per golden brown & crispy hunay tak fry ker lein.
Moong masoor daal ko kurkuri bhindi,chawal,salad aur achar ka saath serve karein!
