Ingredients:
- Chana daal (Split Bengal gram) 1 Cup (washed & soaked for 1 hour)
- Namak (Salt) 1 tsp
- Water as required
- Ghee ½ Cup
- Zeera (Cumin seeds) 1 tsp
- Badi elaichi (Black cardamom) 1
- Laung (Cloves) 3-4
- Sabut kali mirch (Black peppercorns) 7-8
- Darchini (Cinnamon sticks) 2
- Pyaz (Onion) sliced 2 medium
- Kary patta (Curry leaves) 15-18
- Tamatar (Tomato) sliced 1 medium (optional)
- Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 2 tbs
- Hari mirch paste (Green chilli paste) 2 tbs
- Dahi (Yogurt) whisked ½ Cup
- Beef qeema (Beef mince) 500g
- Namak (Salt) ½ tbs or to taste
- Saunf powder (Fennel powder) 1 & ½ tsp
- Sabut dhania (Coriander seeds) roasted & crushed 1 & ½ tbs
- Garam masala powder 1 tsp
- Javitri powder (Mace powder) ¼ tsp
- Jaifil powder (Nutmeg powder) ¼ tsp
- Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed 1 tsp
- Hari mirch (Green chillies) slit 5-6
- Chicken cubes 2
- Lemon juice 2 tbs
- Chawal (Rice) basmati ½ kg (washed & soaked for 30 minutes)
- Water 3-4 Cups or as required
- Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
- Kary patta (Curry leaves) 17-18
- Pyaz (Onion) fried
Directions:
In a sauce pan,add split Bengal gram,salt,water,mix well & bring it to boil then remove scum,cover & boil on medium flame until 3/4th done (10-12 minutes),strain & set aside.
In a pot,add ghee & let it melt.
Add cumin seeds,black cardamom,cloves,black peppercorns,cinnamon sticks & mix well.
Add onion,mix well & fry until light golden.
Add curry leaves & mix well.
Add tomato,mix well & cook for 1-2 minutes.
Add ginger garlic paste,green chilli paste & mix well.
Add yogurt,mix well & cook for 1-2 minutes.
Add beef mince,mix well & cook for 4-5 minutes.
Add salt,fennel powder,coriander seeds,garam masala powder,mace powder,nutmeg powder,red chilli crushed,mix well & cook until oil separates (5-6 minutes).
Add boiled split Bengal gram,green chillies,chicken cube,lemon juice & mix well.
Add rice & mix well.
Add water,salt,mix well and bring it to boil,cover & cook on medium low flame for 10-15 minutes.
Add curry leaves,fried onion,cover & simmer on low flame 6-8 minutes.
Garish with fried onion,curry leaves & serve with yogurt raita & salad!

Directions:
Saucepan mein chana daal,namak aur pani dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur ubal anay ka bad scum ko nikal lein aur dhak ker darmiyani ancch per 3/4th done hunay tak boil ker lein (10-12 minutes) phir strain ker ka side per rakh dein.
Pot mein ghee dal ker melt ker lein.
Zeera,badi elaichi,laung,sabut kali mirch aur darchini dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.
Pyaz dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur light golden hunay tak fry ker lein.
Kary patta dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.
Tamatar dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 1-2 minutes klya paka lein.
Adrak lehsan paste aur hari mirch paste dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
Dahi dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 1-2 minutes kliya paka lein.
Beef qeema dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 4-5 minutes kliya paka lein.
Namak,saunf powder,sabut dhania,garam masala powder,javitri powder,jaifil powder aur lal mirch crushed dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur oil alag ho janay tak paka lein (5-6 minutes).
Boiled chana daal,hari mirchein,chicken cube aur lemon juice dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
Chawal dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.
Pani aur namak dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur ubal anay ka bad dhak dein aur darmiyani halki ancch per 10-15 minutes kliya paka lein.
Kary patta aur fried pyaz dal ker dhak dein aur 6-8 minutes kliya halki ancch per dum per rakh dein.
Fried pyaz aur kary patta sa garnish karein aur dahi raita aur salad ka saath serve karein!
