Ingredients:
For Kadhi:
- Gram flour 1 cup
- Water 2 cups
- Yogurt (sour) 2 & ½ cup
- Water 1 cup
- Water 6-8 cups
- Onion finely sliced 2 tbs (optional)
- Fenugreek leaves 1 tsp (optional)
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbs
- Whole red chilies 6-8
- Cumin seeds 1 tsp
- Curry leaves 6-8
- Green chilies 2
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Red chili powder 1 tsp or to taste
- Salt 1 & ½ tsp or to taste
For Pakora:
- Gram flour 2 cups
- Salt 1 tsp or to taste
- Red chili powder 1 tsp
- Green chilies chopped 1-2
- Coriander leaves 2 tbs
- Water as required
- Oil for frying
For Tarka:
- Oil ½ cup
- Onion sliced 2 tbs
- Cumin seeds ½ tsp
- Whole red chilies 4-6
- Green chilies chopped 2
- Curry leaves 6-8
Directions:
Kadhi preparations:
In bowl, add gram flour and water, whisk it well until smooth, set aside.
Whisk yogurt well, add water and mix well again, set aside.
In pot, pour and strain prepared gram flour batter and yogurt mixture, add water, mix it.
Now add onion, fenugreek leaves, ginger garlic paste, whole red chilies and cumin seeds, give it a good mix.
Add curry leaves, green chilies,turmeric powder,mix it.
Now add red chili powder and salt, mix well and bring it to boil. Cook on low flame for 30-40 minutes (stir in between).
Pakora Preparations:
Mix gram flour,red chili podwer,baking soda,green chilies,salt and green coriander in a bowl. Add water in small quantities and mix well to form batter.
Heat oil in a wok,with a spoon drop the pakora batter in the oil.
Fry them until medium brown and crispy.
Add deep fried pakora in kadhi mixture, mix and stir well. Cook for 3-4 minutes and set aside.
Tarka preparations:
Heat oil in fry pan, add onion and saute little.
Add cumin seeds,whole red chillies,green chilies and curry leaves, saute for few seconds.
Add tarka in pakora khadi mixture.
Serve the kadhi hot with steamed rice.

Bowl mein basan aur pani dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur side per rakh dein.
Dahi ko whisk karein aur pani dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein,side per rakh dein.
Pot mein basan aur dahi ka mixture chaan ker dal dein,pani shamil karein aur mix ker lein.
Ab is mein pyaz,kasuri methi,adrak lehsan paste,sabut lal mirch,zeera dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
Is mein kari patta,hari mirchein aur haldi dal ker mix karein.
Lal mirch powder aur namak shamil ker k ache tarhan mix kerlein,halki ancch per 30-40 minutes kliya pakayein (darmiyan mein chamcha chalatya rahein).
Pakora Preparations:
Bowl mein basan,lal mirch powder,baking soda,hari mirchein,namak aur hara dhania shamil ker k mix karein. Thora thora ker k pani shamil kertay jayein aur batter tayyar ker lein.
Karhai mein oil garam karein aur chamchay ki madad sa pakora batter dal ker halka sunahiri aur crispy hunay tak fry ker lein.
Kadhi mixture mein fried pakora shamil ker k mix karein aur 3-4 minute kliya paka lein.
Tarka preparations:
Fry pan mein oil garam karein, pyaz dal ker saute ker lein.
Ab is mein zeera,sabut lal mirch,hari mirchein aur kari patta dal ker k saute ker lein.
Khadi ko chawal k saath garam garam serve karein.
