Ingredients:
Dough:
- Chakki ka atta (Whole wheat flour) sifted 1 Cup
- Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp
- Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) ½ tsp
- Hing (Asafoetida) powder 1/4 tsp
- Namak (Salt) ½ tsp
- Ghee ½ tbs
- Pani (Water) 3/4 Cup or as required
- Arhar daal (Split pigeon pea) 1 & ½ Cup (soaked for 2 hours)
- Pani (Water) 4-5 Cups or as required
- Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) ½ tbs or to taste
- Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp
- Adrak (Ginger) chopped 1 tsp
- Lehsan (Garlic) chopped 1 tsp
- Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
- Gur (Jaggery) 1-2 tbs
- Ghee 2 tbs
- Hing (Asafeotida) powder 1/4 tsp
- Zeera (Cumin seeds) ½ tsp
- Raidana (Mustard seeds) ½ tsp
- Lal mirch (Red chillies) 2-3
- Kary pata (Curry leaves) 7-8
- Tamatar (Tomatoes) cubes 2 small
- Pani (Water) ½ Cup or as required
- Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped ½ Cup
- Pani (Water) ½ Cup or as required
- Lal mirch (Red chilli)
- Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped
- Lemon juice
- Peanuts
Directions:
In bowl,add whole wheat flour,turmeric powder,red chilli powder,asafoetida powder,salt,ghee and mix well.
Gradually add water and knead until dough is formed,cover and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
Grease hand with ghee and knead dough again.
Take a small dough,sprinkle dry flour and roll out with the help of rolling pin.
Cut into pieces with the help of the cutter and sprinkle fry flour then take out on a plate and sprinkle fry flour & set aside.
In pot,add split pigeon pea,water,red chilli powder,turmeric powder,ginger and garlic,mix well and bring it to boil,cover & cook on low flame until tender (approx. 1 hour).
Add salt,jaggery,mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes & set aside.
In frying pan,add ghee and let it melt.
Add asafeotida powder,cumin seeds,mustard seeds,red chillies,curry leaves and mix.
Add tomatoes,mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add it in pot and mix well.
Add water,mix well and bring it to boil,add fresh coriander and mix well.
Add prepared dough pieces and mix gently.
Add water,cover and cook on low flame for 15-20 minutes.
Garnish with red chilli,fresh coriander,lemon juice,peanuts & serve!

Directions:
Bowl mein chakki ka att,haldee powder,lal mirch powder,hing powder,namak aur ghee dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
Thora thora ker ka pani shamil karein aur ghond ker dough tayyar ker lein aur dhak ker 10-15 minutes kliya rakh dein.
Haath ko ghee sa grease karein aur dough ko dubara ghond lein.
Chota dough lein aur atta chirak ker rolling pin ki madad sa bail lein.
Cutter ki madad sa pieces mein cut ker lein aur atta chirak dein aur plate per rakh ker atta chirak dein aur side per rakh dein.
Pot mein arhar daal,pani,lal mirch powder,haldee powder,adrak aur lehsan dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur ubal anay ka bad dhak dein aur halki ancch per gul janay tak paka lein (approx. 1 hour).
Namak aur gur dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 2-3 minutes kliya paka lein & side per rakh dein.
Frying pan mein ghee dal ker melt ker lein.
Hing powder,zeera,raidana,lal mirch aur kary pata dal ker mix karein.
Tamatar dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 2-3 minutes kliya paka lein.
Pot mein dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
Pani dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur ubal anay ka bad hara dhania dal ker mix ker lein.
Tayyar dough pieces dal ker gently mix ker lein.
Pani dal ker dhak dein aur halki ancch per 15-20 minutes kliya paka lein.
Lal mirch,hara dhania,lemon juice aur peanuts sa garnish ker ka serve karein!
