Ingredients:
- Javatri (Mace) ½ piece
- Hari elaichi (Green cardamom) 10-12
- Jaifil (Nutmeg) ½ piece
- Sabut kali mirch (Black peppercorns) ½ tsp
- Badam (Almonds) 15-16
- Kashkhash (Poppy seeds) 1 tbs
- Laung (Cloves) 7-8
- Cooking oil 1-2 tbs
- Pyaz (Onion) sliced 2 large
- Lehsan (Garlic) cloves 5-6
- Hari mirch (Green chillies) 10-12
- Podina (Mint leaves) 1/4 Cup
- Mon salwa Chicken Chapli kabab 8
- Cooking oil for frying
- Cooking oil ½ Cup
- Laung (Cloves) 2
- Hari elaichi (Green cardamom) 3-4
- Badi elaichi (Black cardamom) 1
- Darchini (Cinnamon stick) 1
- Tez paat (Bay leaves) 3
- Zeera (Cumin seeds) 1 tbs
- Dahi (Yogurt) whisked 1 Cup
- Safed mirch powder (White pepper powder) 1 tsp
- Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
- Dhania powder (Coriander powder) 1 tbs
- Lemon juice 2 tbs
- Cream ½ Cup
- Khoya crumbled 2-3 tbs
- Podina (Mint leaves) chopped 2-3 tbs
- Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 2-3 tbs
- Pyaz (Onion) fried
- Chawal (Rice) ½ kg (soaked & boiled until 3/4th done)
Directions:
In frying pan,add mace,green cardamom,nutmeg,black peppercorns,almonds,poppy seeds,cloves and dry roast until fragrant.
Let it cool.
In spice mixer,add roasted spices and blend to make a powder & set aside.
In frying pan,add cooking oil,onion and mix well.
Add garlic and mix.
Add green chillies and fry until onions are translucent.
Let it cool.
In chopper,add onion & green chillies mixture,mint leaves and chop well & set aside.
In frying pan,heat cooking oil and fry chicken chapli kabab on medium flame from both sides until golden brown & set aside.
In pot,add cooking oil,cloves,green cardamom,black cardamom,cinnamon stick,bay leaves,cumin seeds and mix.
Add chopped onion+green chilli mixture,mix well and cook for 4-5 minutes.
Add yogurt and mix well.
Add white pepper powder,salt,coriander powder and mix well.
Add ground spices,lemon juice,mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add cream,khoya and mix well.
Take out half quantity of gravy for layering & set aside.
Add mint leaves,fresh coriander,fried onion,chicken chapli kabab,half quantity of boiled rice,reserved gravy,chicken chapli kabab,mint leaves,fresh coriander,fried onion,remaining boiled rice,cover and simmer on low flame for 4-5 minutes & serve!

Frying pan mein javatri,hari elaichi,jaifil,sabut kali mirch,badam,kashkhash aur laung dal dein aur khushbu anay tak dry roast ker lein.
Thanda ker lein.
Spice mixer mein roasted spices dal dein aur blend ker ka powder tayyar ker lein & side per rakh dein.
Frying pan mein cooking oil aur pyaz dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.
Lehsan dal ker mix ker lein.
Hari mirch dal dein aur pyaz ko translucent hunay tak fry ker lein.
Thanda ker lein.
Chopper mein pyaz+hari mirch mixture aur podina dal ker ache tarhan chop ker lein & side per rakh dein.
Frying pan mein cooking oil garam karein aur chicken chapli kabab ko dono sides sa darmiyani ancch per golden brown hunat tak fry ker lein & side per rakh dein.
Pot mein cooking oil,laung,hari elaichi,badi elaichi,darchini,tez paat aur zeera dal ker mix ker lein.
Chopped pyaz & hari mirch mixture dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 4-5 minutes kliya paka lein.
Dahi dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
Safed mirch powder,namak aur dhania powder dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.
Ground spices aur lemon juice dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 2-3 miutes kliya paka lein.
Cream aur khoya dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
Gravy ki half quantity layering kliya nikal ker side per rakh dein.
Podina,hara dhania,fried pyaz,chicken chapli kabab,half quantity boiled rice,reserved gravy,chicken chapli kabab,podina,hara dhania,fried pyaz,podina,hara dhania aur remaining boiled rice dal ker dhak dein aur halki ancch per 4-5 minutes kliya dum per rakh dein & serve karein!
