Ingredients:
- Manda patti as needed
- Pyaz (Onion) large as required
- Maida (All-purpose flour) sifted 1 & ½ Cup
- Baking powder 1 tsp
- Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed 1 tsp
- Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 tsp or to taste
- Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
- Anda (Egg) 1
- Pani (Water) 3/4 Cup or as required
- Maida (All-purpose flour) 1 Cup or as required
- Cooking oil for frying
- Mon salwa Aloo Tikki
- Cooking oil for frying
- Chanay (Chickpeas) boiled 2 Cups
- Tamatar (Tomato) deseeded & chopped ½ Cup
- Pyaz (Onion) chopped ½ Cup
- Hari mirch (Green chilli) 2
- Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 2-3 tbs
- Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed 1 tsp
- Kala namak (Black salt) ½ tsp
- Lemon juice 1 tbs
- Dahi (Yogurt) whisked
- Khatti meethi chutney
- Nimco sev
- Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed
- Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped
Directions:
In chopper,add manda patti,chop well & set aside.
Peel & cut onion into two halves and separate each ring (layer) & set aside.
In bowl,add all-purpose flour,baking powder,cumin seeds,red chilli powder,salt and mix.
Add egg and gradually add water,whisk until smooth & set aside.
In bowl,add all-purpose flour & set aside.
In separate bowl,add chopped manda patti.
Now coat onion rings in dry all-purpose flour mixture then dip into prepared batter then coat in chopped manda patti.
In wok,heat cooking oil and fry on medium flame until golden brown.
In wok,heat cooking oil and fry aloo tikki on medium flame until golden brown then cut into pieces & set aside.
In bowl,add chickpeas,tomato,onion,green chilli,fresh coriander,cumin seeds,black salt and lemon juice,mix well & set aside.
Assembling:
On onion cup,add aloo tikki pieces,chickpeas mixture,yogurt,khatti meethi chutney,nimco sev,red chilli crushed,fresh coriander & serve!

Pyaz ko peel ker ka two halves mein cut ker lein aur rings ko separate ker lein & side per rakh dein.
Bowl mein maida,baking powder,zeera,lal mirch powder aur namak dal ker mix ker lein.
Anda aur thora thora ker ka pani shamil karein aur smooth hunay tak ache tarhan whisk ker lein & side per rakh dein.
Bowl mein maida dal ker side per rakh dein.
Alag bowl mein chopped manda patti dal dein.
Pyaz rings ko dry maida mein coat karein phir tayyar batter mein dip ker ka chopped manda patti mein coat ker lein.
Karhai mein cooking oil garam karein aur darmiyani ancch per golden brown hunay tak fry ker lein.
Karhai mein cooking oil garam karein aur aloo tikki ko darmiyani ancch per golden brown hunay tak fry ker lein phir pieces mein cut ker lein & side per rakh dein.
Bowl mein chanay,tamatar,pyaz,hari mirch,hara dhania,zeera,kala namak aur lemon juice dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein & side per rakh dein.
Assembling:
Onion cup mein aloo tikki pieces,chanay ka mixture,dahi,khatti meethi chutney,nimco sev,lal mirch crushed aur hara dhania dal ker serve karein.
