Soak split bengal gram in water for 3-4 hours.
In pot, add milk and split Bengal gram (soak) and bring it to boil.
Cover and cook on low flame until lentil is tender and milk is dried. (Approx.30-35 minutes) and let it cool.
In grinder, grind the whole mixture. Add milk (as required) to make a paste.
In wok, heat desi ghee and add green cardamom and mix it.
Now add lentil paste,stir continuously and cook until ghee separates.
Add sugar, stir well until sugar dissolves.
Add cardamom powder and mix well until ghee separates.
Add almonds, raisins and desiccated coconut and mix well.
Split Bengal garm halwa is ready.
Chanay ki daal ko pani mein 3-4 hours kliya bhego dein.
Pot mein doodh,aur chanay ki daal (soaked) dal ker ubal anay tak paka lein.
Dhak ker halki ancch per chanay ki daal gul janay aur doodh sukh janay tak paka lein (Approx.30-35 minutes) aur thanda ker lein.
Grinder mein daal shamil ker k grind ker lein.Doodh (hasb e zaroorat) shamil ker k paste bana lein.
Karhai mein desi ghee garam karein aur hari elaichi dal ker mix ker lein.
Ab is mein chanay ki daal ka paste dal ker bhoon lein yahan tak k ghee alag ho jaye aur musalsal chamcha chalatay rahein.
Cheeni dal ker musalsal chamcha chalatay rahein yahan tak k cheeni ghul jaye.
Elaichi powder dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein yahan tak k ghee alag ho jaye.
Badam,kishmish aur khopra dal ker mix karein.
Chanay ki daal ka halwa tayyar hai.
